A few years ago I started renting studio space over the winter months because winter in PA isn’t always prime time for shooting outdoors if you know what I mean. The true bonus to this space is that it comes equipped with an incredible white kitchen that is open for booking as well! Winter can be so blah here (summer is my jam) and I wanted to offer something fun and different for those with little’s who were cooped up and looking for a way to capture how playful their babies are. This is how sink sessions were born! My sweet friend Lauren brought her daughter to the studio kitchen and we filled it with soapy water and let her have at it. The results were beyond our wildest expectations. She. Loved. It!! These sessions are some of my favorite’s for kids under 18 months and can be an awesome way to do something different for that first birthday shoot or as a grand finale to a cake smash. You can truly see pure joy in these images. Added bonus, the “clients” are usually exhausted til we’re done and that means a nice nap time for everyone when we’re finished!
What a cute bald baby 😉😉😉 these are still my favorite pics (a very, very close second is my first maternity or Charlie’s helmet session!) I love how bright and playful this theme was. And I love that people assume that’s my pretty white kitchen when they see the pics 🤪
